After growing up outside of Philadelphia and graduating from UCLA, Bateman began his journey in the pet industry in 2012 at a startup called DOG for DOG. It was there that Mike got the bug to start his own company. After leaving DOG for DOG in 2016 and working with a few other brands, Bateman launched Green Coast Pet with his business partner, Nick Massey. Green Coast Pet started as a company with a focus on providing the highest quality treats and supplements for pets at an affordable price. With the hemp craze just beginning, Green Coast Pet wanted to make this beneficial ingredient available to everyone for an affordable price but still in the highest quality products. As Green Coast Pet continues to grow, so does our offerings for pets.
